A quick story behind this Google Analytics blog
Welcome to my blog, dedicated to Google Analytics. While I also discuss other aspects of web analytics (like Google Tag Manager), Google Analytics takes center stage here since 2020.
Back in the early days of Google Analytics, around 2010/2011, I found myself struggling to navigate the platform and make sense of the data it provided. Then in 2020, a new GA version (App+Web) was renamed to Google Analytics 4. There were very few reliable resources where you could learn this new tool.
Despite the abundance of information, I found that resources were often scattered across the web, making it difficult to find specific information in one place.
That’s when I asked myself, why not create my own Google Analytics blog?
Of course, there were already several fantastic blogs covering Google Analytics, but all of them were still focusing on Universal Analytics (GA3). The more I delved into the world of Google Analytics, the more I realized there was still room for another blog on the topic.
The field of web analytics is ever-evolving, and there are always new features, techniques, and strategies to explore. I believe there are still topics that haven’t been covered or could be discussed more in-depth.
So here I am, sharing my insights, findings, and experiences, with the hope that you’ll find them valuable as well. The positive feedback from my readers continues to motivate me to push forward!
In addition to the blog, I send out a newsletter 3-4 times a month with the latest updates on Google Analytics and Google Analytics. If you think this Google Analytics blog is worth following, consider subscribing (by downloading any of the resources below).
