16 Funny Google Tag Manager Reaction GIFs (Part 4)

Those who have been following Analytics Mania for the last several years already know this tradition. Every year on April 1st, I publish a bunch of Google Tag Manager reaction GIFs.

However, last year’s edition was skipped for obvious reasons. I think we all remember the fear and tension that we felt in March/April of 2020.

But in 2021, let’s try to bring this tradition back.

Previous editions of reaction GIFs

In case you missed it, here are the rest of the GTM reaction GIFs I’ve shared in the past:

  • Part 1
  • Part 2
  • Part 3

This year’s GIFs

And now, let’s take I look at what I’ve compiled this year.

1. When you and your coworker solve a complex GTM challenge (but COVID-19 is still around and you have to maintain the distance)

2. When I invite everyone to join the GTM community on Facebook

3. When you join the GTM community

4. When I’m having lunch and someone says that GTM has a new feature

5. When I finally meet someone at MeasureCamp who I knew online for a long time (before the pandemic)

6. Traveling to the next Digital Analytics events when everything will settle down but you still are cautious about getting the virus inside the plane

7. The next time you meet someone at MeasureCamp

8. When you press PUBLISH in a very large GTM container and that loader keeps spinning forever

9. How some people reacted when the GTM team announced server-side tagging at SuperWeek 2020

10. How many of us reacted to the GTM server-side tagging announcement (without having any experience with the server-side in the past)

11. When you start working with regex  in GTM

12. When you try implementing your first GTM setup

13. When you try to implement Google Analytics 4 for the first time without reading or watching any tutorials

14. …still waiting for that large GTM container to be published

15. When a coworker finds the Konami code I implemented via GTM while the CEO has no idea of it

16. When your ecommerce GTM setup is not working and you are comparing your datalayer against the documentation

That’s it for this time! Yet another GTM reaction GIF compilation has come to an end (even though there was a 1-year break). But it’s better to launch later than never. If you have missed the previous editions, you can find them here: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.
